BROOKLYN- In a thrilling, 28-26 victory over the Dundee Vikings, the Golden Eagles of Columbia Central clinched a second consecutive M.H.S.A.A. playoff berth tonight.
A Khol Partridge to sophomore Carson Daniels fourth quarter touchdown pass proved to be the game winner in the L.C.A.A. match up. With the win, Columbia Central moved to 6-2 on the season. Dundee falls to 3-5.
After leading 21-6, Columbia Central had no answer for the Vikings who rattled off 20 straight points to grab a 26-21 lead before the Daniels score.
Senior Micah Raby made the defensive play of the game when he broke up a Dundee fourth down touchdown pass in the end zone that kept the Vikings from regaining the lead.
On the night, Dundee kept Raby in check, limiting him to a season low 73 yards rushing. Sophomore Khol Partridge rushed for 81 yards and passed for 158 yards to lead the attack.
The regular season wraps up next week when Columbia Central hosts the Hornets of Hillsdale High School.
