Multiple Teams · Tecumseh Over Columbia Central

BROOKLYN-  The Lady Indians of Tecumseh High School brought the season to an end last night for the Lady Golden Eagles of Columbia Central in a 3-1 district semi-final win.  Tecumseh now moves into the district finals against Adrian, who defeated Chelsea (3-1) in the earlier semi-final match-up.

For the six seniors,(Kenzi Collins, Kenzee Tompkins, Tara Schatzle, Cami Emerson, Lyza Myers and Mackenzie Wenzlick) it was their final home volleyball appearance as the team finished the year with an L.C.A.A. conference championship and the S.A.U. Jackson County championship.  Overall record ended at 29-15-5.

Lyza Myers led the team in kills (23) and aces(4) while teammate Cami Emerson was the team leader in digs.(14)  Kenzee Tompkins turned in a strong effort with 12 digs and was 10/11 in serve reception.
