Columbia Central junior volleyball player Lyza Myers received national recognition this week as she was name the AVCA prep volleyball player of the week in Michigan. This past weekend while competing in the season opening tournament at Adrian High School, the 6’2″ outside hitter put down down 53 kills, had 6 aces to go along
On Saturday the Golden Eagle volleyball squad traveled to Adrian for a season opening tournament. Pool play saw the girls go undefeated and were then matched up with Milan in the quarterfinal round. The 2015 high school football season kicks off Friday night when the Napoleon Pirates travel to Columbia Central for a 7:00 pm kickoff. At stake is the traditional ‘little brown jug’ which last year was won back by the Pirates. On Thursday, the Junior Varsity travels to Napoleon for a 6:30 kickoff to open up
