Cheer Finishes Sixth

LIVONIA-  In competitive cheer district competition held at Livonia Ladywood High School last evening, the Columbia Central Lady Golden Eagles finished in sixth position in the fourteen team event.  The top four finishers move on to regional action next weekend. Columbia Central finished with a final score of 663.42.  Here are the top four finishers

League Season Ends

IDA-  The L.C.A.A. league meet was held last night and the Lady Golden Eagles finished in the fourth spot with a score of 672.20.  The fourth place finish combined with the earlier meet results put the Golden Eagles third in the overall final league standings. RESULTS:  HUDSON (1)  740.88  IDA (2) 712.34 ONSTED (3) 684.02

Cheer Finishes 4th in L.C.A.A. Competition

ONSTED-  After finishing second in the first two L.C.A.A. league jamborees, the Columbia Central Varsity Cheer team slipped to a fourth place finish last night finishing well behind league leader, Hudson. Lady Tigers Rule the Mat

BROOKLYN-  The second L.C.A.A. competitive cheer jamboree of the season was held last night before a large and well-behaved crowd.  Hudson High School again dominated the varsity competition with a first place score total of 703.86 to outdistance the second place Lady Eagles of Columbia Central who finished with a score of 652.04. Cheer Opens Strong

BLISSFIELD-   The young Columbia Central cheer team opened conference competition last night with the L.C.A.A. Blissfield league jamboree.  Coach Tasha Greene’s youngsters performed well and earned a second place finish with a final score of 660.06.  The Lady Tigers of Hudson outdistanced the field with a 700.38 to earn the first place spot. HUDSON-     The L.C.A.A. cheer season came to a close on Wednesday and three Lady Golden Eagles received all-league recognition.  As a team, the squad finished in fourth place behind Ida, Hudson and 2016 league champion, Onsted High School. Selected for the all league honors were: Lexie Hall- Honorable Mention Delaney Hawkins- 1st Team

Cheer Competes in L.C.A.A.

IDA-   The varsity competitive cheer team took home a fourth place finish Wednesday in the six team conference event.  Hudson won the meet with a final score of 716.79 to edge out the Wildcats of Onsted.
