Baseball Advances to Finals

Eagles Hang on for Split

BROOKLYN-  Sophomore Chase Tompkins went the distance on the mound yesterday in game two of the L.C.A.A. doubleheader as the Golden Eagles held off the Bluestreaks of Ida 9-7. Ida struck early with a four run outburst in the opening inning but the Eagles rallied to tie the game at 4-4 in the fourth inning. 

Late Inning Heroics

BROOKLYN-  Junior Noah Osborne went the distance tonight on the bump and pitched the Golden Eagles to to a 3-2 win over the Onsted Wildcats in a game resumed from a weather issue a month ago. Tonight’s game one resumption picked up from the third inning and Osborne fanned eight of the first twelve batters

Columbia Wins in Rout

BROOKLYN-  Sophomore Brady Surque needed just 74 pitches to pick up the win over Napoleon (II) tonight in the opening game of the Al Glick Diamond Classic.  The 11-0 whitewash now puts the Golden Eagles in a 10 am matchup with the Warriors of Grass Lake in a semi-final game at Columbia Central.
