HILLSDALE-  The White Pines Golf and Country Club played host yesterday to the first L.C.A.A. league jamboree under cloudy, windy and cool conditions. DEVILS LAKE-  The Columbia Central girls golf team remained in the top spot of the Independent Golf League yesterday when they outdistanced Adrian Madison with a team score of 200 for the nine hole event. JACKSON-  Under beautiful sunny skies, the Lady Eagles golf team played its best golf of the season to finish with a fourth place finish in the Jackson County Invitational held at the Cascades Golf Course. Leading the way was sophomore Alissa Fish who carded a school record 76 for the eighteen hole event and medalist

TECUMSEH-  Playing under warm and dry conditions at the Hantz Golf Course, L.C.A.A. golfers wrapped up the conference season yesterday with the league tournament. Golfers Winding Down

MANCHESTER-   The boys golf team yesterday competed in the Division III M.H.S.A.A. district tournament and finished with a team total of 383 for the eighteen hole event held at the Rustic Glen Golf Course. Cameron Palmer shot a team low of 83, which qualified him for regional action next week.  Other scores were: Bryan Smith 

DEVILS LAKE-  In L.C.A.A. golf play yesterday, the Columbia Central boys golf team finished a distant, 37 strokes behind jamboree leader Onsted in a nine-hole event held at scenic, Devils Lake Golf Course. Onsted finished with a team total of 163 in the eight team competition. TEAM SCORES:  1) Onsted 163  2) Hillsdale 177  3)

L.C.A.A. Golfers Test Clarklake

CLARKLAKE GOLF COURSE-   Cool, damp conditions greeted the eight L.C.A.A. schools yesterday as Columbia Central played host to the league jamboree.  Over fifty golfers teed off at 2:00 pm and the Onsted Wildcats put up the low team score of 172 to win by just four strokes over Hillsdale.  Columbia Central finished a distant fourth

Girls Golf Honored

It was just announced that the Columbia Central Girl’s Golf team of Coach Mike Jordon earned Academic All-State recognition in Division IV from the Golf Coaches Association of Michigan. The squad finished with a 3.940 GPA to finish behind just Lake Michigan Catholic who earned a 4.056 GPA for the 2015 season. Team members were:
