Girls Tennis Update

Here are the results of a pair of tennis matches held earlier this week.  On Monday, the Lady Eagles traveled to Leslie for a conference match where they fell, 1-6. Onsted/CC Play to 4-4 Tie

BROOKLYN-  In girl’s tennis last night, the Lady Wildcats and Lady Golden Eagles battled for two hours and ended up in a 4-4 Independent Tennis League deadlock. Hillsdale Overpowers Lady Eagles

BROOKLYN- Under bright and sunny skies, the Lady Eagles hosted the Lady Hornets in an Independent Tennis League match yesterday with Hillsdale heading home with a dominating 7-1 win. EATON RAPIDS-  On Saturday the Lady Golden Eagles girls tennis team opened their spring season with a visit to the Eaton Rapids Greyhound Invitational. The girls tennis match scheduled TONIGHT AT HILLSDALE HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO WET COURTS.  The match has been rescheduled for tomorrow night beginning at 4:30.

Girls Tennis Edges Onsted

ONSTED-     A clean sweep in singles play proved to be the difference on Friday as the Lady Golden Eagles knocked off league foe Onsted, 5-3, in girls tennis. All four singles matches went to the Lady Eagles and then a doubles victory at #2 doubles by Samantha Daglow and partner Delaney Hawkins, sealed the win.

Lady Eagles Drop Home Match

BROOKLYN-  In a very competitive match against league leader ianLansing Christian, the Lady Golden Eagles came up on the short end of a 5-3 league loss.  Despite the loss, Coach Darren Tanner was pleased,  “We played well today.” In #2 singles, Hayley Diefenthaler ran her record to 9-0 on the season with a (6-2,6-4) win
